Help us build a more cyber-literate society.

The Digital Lies & Cyber Literacy Foundation (DLCL) is a not-for-profit initiative working to create a safer, better-informed and more resilient society in the digital age. We help people understand and respond to misinformation, disinformation, scams, online manipulation and emerging AI-driven harms, giving communities the practical skills to question what they see online and make informed decisions.

We pursue this mission through education, research, and public outreach. Our flagship initiative, Capture the Narrative (CTN), is a competition for university students that challenges participants to explore how misinformation and disinformation work, think critically about digital content, and develop creative responses to real-world societal problems.

How to support our work:

DLCL depends on donations and sponsorship from businesses, organisations, and individuals who share our goal of building a more resilient digital society.

Your support directly enables us to develop and deliver educational programs, expand our public outreach, support students across Australia, and translate research into practical resources that people and communities can use.

By supporting DLCL, you can make a meaningful social impact, demonstrate a commitment to responsible technology and community wellbeing, and help more people recognise and resist digital deception.

Funding can support awards and scholarships, educational programs, research projects, public resources, and outreach activities. We also welcome in-kind contributions, including access to facilities, software, professional expertise, and other resources.

To discuss making a donation, sponsoring an initiative, or supporting a particular program, contact us at contact@dlcl.org.au.

You can also support DLCL by contributing your time and expertise. We welcome people interested in helping with our research, education, events, and public outreach.
